Kashida was commissioned by Abu Dhabi Executive Council to design a unique piece for UAE National Day. The design fuses the map of the UAE as well as the words 'Zayed wa aletihad', meaning 'Zayed and the Unity'. These two elements join seamlessly to create a desk piece that honors the late Sheikh Zayed on the wonderful occasion of the country's National Day.
